Introduction to Business Branding
When was your last professional headshot?
Do you have your headshot updated once a year, every few years?
If you are a business owner a fresh new look is really the thriving approach these days!!
You don’t have to look far to find a skilled photographer but it will take a bit more research to find a photographer skilled in headshots and business branding. If you have questions about business branding I’d love to help with those questions.
Moving forward with my friend Kate Lund, she has a practice in Edmonds, Wa she’s an amazing author also.
I met Kate several years ago when our sons were on the same baseball team. We hit it off instantly. Since then I’ve had the privilege of photographing her and her family many times.
Kate and I have worked together on several projects for her business. The latest project is an introduction to personal branding.
Kate is an author and business owner. As a business owner we know that people want to see the person behind the name and business. I feel honored that Kate comes to me for these images. The images are for her books, website, and promotional materials.
The fun we have when working together comes through in the finished products. That connection between client and photographer is so important for projects like this. It can feel unnatural to be in front of the camera but your photographer can guide you through this. I’ve found with headshots and business branding projects that clients lean on me as the photographer to guide them towards creative ideas that match what the images are for.
If you have a moment check out Kate’s book, and her Ted talk on resilience.
Kate is passionate about teaching parents and children about this topic and does it well.. She has a personal story that is all about resilience, it is helpful for the entire family to listen to her story.
Her story and Tedtalk were helpful for our family.
